I know I don’t have to point that out to anyone. It’s sort of a given for most of society that a Friday afternoon at 4:59pm is a very awesome time of day. Right now it’s only 2:26pm though, so the awesomeness that is Friday hasn’t truly hit yet. I’m waiting for it though…

So I look at what I have to do for the rest of today – check my facebook account? put something on twitter? maybe play some mob wars or farmville? sure. The end of afternoon on a Friday at work is made for things like, well, not working.

All you non monday-friday, 8am – wheneverpm workers just don’t understand the ecstatic appeal that 4:59pm on a Friday really has.  I actually leave my office, practically running down the stairs and hit the outside air with a huge breath of TGIF! My heartbeat accelerates, the 5:00 happy hour songs on every radio station kick into gear, and it’s a happy ride home.
