A special thank-you to Yovia bloggers
by JalaliThank-you!
Over the last 10 months, many of you have been involved with Yovia as a writer, blogger, photographer, designer or contributor.
Together we all make up a group of about 1,500 people from around the world - working on a variety of blogging and writing assignments.
And together, we are beginning to become a force to be reckoned with, capable of creating buzz online on a moments notice…
Like many start-ups, we experienced such rapid growth that we had to temporarily suspend the blogger program while we got the appropriate staff and systems in place. The applications were coming in so quickly, we knew we wouldn’t be able to manage it without an increased capacity to manage everything…
We ultimately plan to recruit, manage, organize and enable more than 50,000 individuals as part of the Yovia network, and we know that this will require a certain size infrastructure and staff here at the home office.
As you can imagine, responding to, tracking and communicating with even 1,500 bloggers is no small task, and so we took a few months, evaluated the requirements for such a program, and are just about ready with a new “CRM” system that will allow us to track who is doing what.
This system should be deployed no later than July 1, 2008, and will coincide with a few larger, longer-term blogging and writing jobs.
We will also be conducting regular online training sessions and have dedicated staff to answer questions, give out assignments and in general make sure you have the information you need to do your jobs.
As we get this in place, I wanted to personally thank-you each for your work thus far.
You are Yovia, and without you we would be nothing.
Please email me with questions, concerns or suggestions for how we can help enable the growing Yovia community.
Thanks,
Jalali Hartman
