Calling anyone interested in social media who lives in the northeast Florida area! The Social Media Club of Jacksonville is having a meeting on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 pm at the Southeast Regional Library. You don’t have to be an expert or professional to attend; just show up and bring a friend!

Speakers for the event are April Broussard, social media consultant and facilitator, and Jalali Hartman, CEO of Yovia.

On its Facebook page, SMC Jax describes itself as a Social Media Club that “brings together journalists, publishers, communications professionals, artists, amateur media creators, citizen journalists, teachers, students, tool makers, and other interested collaborators.”

If you want to learn about social media, help the media industry evolve, meet new people and have an excuse to socialize a few times a month, then this is your group!
