Note: I am trying LinkVana mainly because I want to resell the product. I am intrigued by any claim that my Google PageRank can be really, truly, honestly increased.

Google PageRank is a precious asset to “we the marketers”. It dictates how much of a slice of Google’s daily search volume we each get dealt on a daily basis. PageRank is named after Google Founder Larry Page but is also a play-on-words, as it refers to the relative rank of each page on the web.

Google PageRank is, in simple terms, the probability that a random person will simply stumble onto your page, versus any other page on the Internet.

For years marketers have been trying to crack this algorithm and legitimately increase this relative popularity of their pages.

There have always been schemes involving link exchanges, blogging and other ‘gray’ tactics that may or may not help you at all. In fact, many of these will likely hurt your Google PageRank, so beware.

This is why I was skeptical initially of LinkVana. My good friend Eric Stockton referred me over to them, and I agreed to give it a cautious try.

The interface was a little confusing, but I finally got a campaign going and sort of forgot about it.
